Seeing Suffering Through Kingdom Eyes
In this message, John examines Paul’s perspective in Colossians on Christian suffering. Focusing on Colossians 1:21–24, he shows how mature discipleship shifts from expecting God to fulfill our personal agendas to submitting to His kingdom will—even when that includes hardship. Drawing from Paul’s own experiences of suffering and the “thorn in the flesh,” the sermon encourages viewing trials through kingdom eyes, where God’s grace is sufficient and His power is perfected in weakness.
