Who We Are in Rapid City, SD
Who We Are
We are a relatively small congregation, which makes it easy to get to know people and form real relationships. We have an active youth group that provides a great environment for children and teenagers to grow in their faith and build friendships. Many military families from Ellsworth AFB worship with us, and we love welcoming visitors from all backgrounds.
We believe the Bible is the inspired word of God and strive to teach and live it faithfully. Our goal is to love God, love one another, and help each person grow closer to Jesus Christ.

Questions Before You Visit?
-
Bible class runs 9:30 to 10:15 AM, and worship runs 10:30 to 11:30 AM. You're welcome at either one or both.
-
Whatever you're comfortable in. There's no dress code, so come as you are.
-
Kids are welcome, and we're a family-friendly church with an active youth group. We have classes for all ages, including a cradle-roll class for babies. There's a nursery and cry room off the auditorium if you need to step out during services, but we love babies, so you won't hear any complaints from us.
-
In Sunday worship service we sing without instruments. That's not because we have anything against instruments. We just do our best to follow the pattern of the early church in the New Testament, where Christians sang to one another and to the Lord (Ephesians 5:19, Colossians 3:16). It's simple, everyone joins in, and honestly, we really like it.
-
We share communion (the Lord's Supper) every Sunday during worship, following the example of the early church in Acts 20:7. Visitors are welcome to take part or simply let the tray pass. No one will single you out.
-
On the first Sunday of each month we have a potluck lunch right after worship, and visitors are always welcome to stay and eat.
