At Black Hills Church of Christ, we believe every child deserves to know they are loved, valued, and created in the image of God. That’s why our partnership with the Black Hills Children’s Home is one of the most meaningful ministries we support.
Every month, a dedicated team of our volunteers prepares and serves a warm, delicious breakfast for the children. (Unofficially rated 5 stars by the kids!)
On the day of the event, our church family arrives early to set up, cook, serve, and clean up. While the children enjoy their meal, we sit with them, build relationships through conversation, and share fun, encouraging moments with singing, puppet shows, skits, and more.
This ministry gives our members a tangible way to demonstrate the love of Christ to children who may be facing difficult circumstances. It’s more than just a meal — it’s about creating connection, showing consistent care, and bringing joy and hope into their lives.
